Teaching

I teach Programming, Game Development, Electronics, Art Appreciation, Thesis, and team-taught interdisciplinary classes at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University. The image above shows me with some of my students. In my role as an artist-technologist, I make artistic technology objects that embody critical thought about technology and tech culture. In my role as an educator, I work with and beyond mainstream tech culture to help students become culturally informed and technically proficient artists and technologists. In order to author innovative creative technology, students need both artistic and technical competence as well as the training to articulate ideas and be critical of those same ideas. Scroll down to see videos of student work from some of my classes. These works are organized by class in ascending order.
